We are back on the road next month, ready to attend two fantastic packaging events. With an exciting year of events lined up for 2023, we are kicking it off by heading to the NEC Birmingham on the 15th and 16th of February for Packaging Innovations and Empack. Following this, we will be making our way to Shropshire to the Telford International Centre on the 25th of February for The Bee Keeping Show.

Packaging Innovations and Empack

Discover the future of your brand's packaging and production journey. The event, which will be held at the NEC, Birmingham, is the UK’s key annual event pushing business and innovation across your packaging journey. During this two-day event, you will gain a unique opportunity to see, touch and experience many packaging solutions. The event will be split into three focused shows: Packaging innovations, Empack and Contract Pack and Fulfilment. Combined, these different areas aim to help and show the potential of the packaging industry.

Packaging Innovations is the largest annual event connecting brands to current and prospective customers. From new materials to formats, there is an excess of expert knowledge throughout the building that will inspire you on your next venture.

Empack allows company directors of packing and filling operations to solve their challenges and understand the new key trends and technologies that will improve their future investments.

Contract Pack and Fulfillment, hosted by the BCMPA (British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association), connects brands with the outsourcing partners they need to allow their businesses to grow. This part of the event is aimed at brand owners, retailers and manufacturers looking for third-party support and require e-commerce fulfilment.

The Bee Keeping Show

New to the scene, The Bee Keeping Show is an independent one-day trade show opening many opportunities across the industry. They aim to create an event that offers equal opportunity for visitors and exhibitors alike, including:

• Beekeepers of all types, scales, and experience.

• Attract a broad representation of UK manufacturers and suppliers.

• Welcome the return of the European suppliers to events here in the UK.

The overall objective is to create an internationally recognised trade event with exhibitors from across the globe.

During the event, expect to gain insightful knowledge from the seminars provided, including talks from many inspirational people within the industry. To name but a few, you can expect to hear from BeeBay, BIBBA, Bee-Plus, Vetro-Pharma and Lyson. Not only that but the seminars and lectures will be hosted by nationally renowned publisher Steve Donohoe and multi-award-winning bee farmer and pollinator Paul Horton from Apidae Honey.
